which bow to get

So i need some help i am looking to upgrade in bows. Right now i have a Fred Bear buckmaster bow but i now want a hoyt bow but i went and shot a mathews bow and i was pretty impressed. So i am looking on classifieds and find some bows for sale. For the hoyt i have found maxxis 31,rampage 31,vectrix,power hawk and for mathews there is the lx and the q2. I just want to know what i should be paying for these bows they are all about two years old. I would just like some tips or warnings or just hear what you have to say about this topic.

Better check out bowtech insanity or destroyer to.IMO the best bows to ever hit the market.

I wouldnt shoot anything but a hoyt. the hoyt vector series bows with the RKT cam is an awesome line up.

Do you want to keep your current bow? Have you thought about trading it in and upgrading from there? I recently traded in two bows at Sheels and applied that towards a new one. They carry Matthews, Bowtech, PSE and few others. Go shoot the others, you may be surprised.

Agreed. Go shoot more bows. Don't get hung up on a certain brand just because they advertise like crazy.

I sold my Bear Truth 2 and needed a new bow. I was convinced I wanted a Hoyt or Mathews, but ended up buying a Bowtech Insanity after shooting them all. I couldn't believe how much better I liked the Insanity then all the others. It blew my mind.

My buddy sold his Mathews Z7 and was going to buy the new Helium, he shot them all and also ended up with the Insanity.

My other buddy was going to buy the Bowtech. He saw how much we liked ours and was convinced that is what he wanted, but ended up liking the PSE more.

Everybody is different. My favorite bow might not be your favorite bow, and vice versa.

Just do yourself a favor and shoot all the bows out there before you drop the coin.

PS... the new Bear is supposed to be sweet as well.
