looking at buying a bow for my wife. Any suggestions as to what kind i should be looking at. I'm not looking to spend a lot just in case she changes her mind.
Thanks

if you dont wanna spend a bunch find a used Diamond razors edge if you look hard you can find them for like 225 sometimes cheaper. Or buy her the Diamond Infinite edge they are great shooting womens bows. Other bows i would look into is a bear apprentice or home wrecker

My wife shot a Bear Truth 2 Ultralight for a few years. Great bow that can be picked up cheap.

I bought my girlfriend a mission craze a little over a year ago. She loves it. I think I was in the full setup about six or seven hundred bucks. I just kept taking her to pro shops so she could shoot as many bows as possible and thats the one she always wanted to shoot. I didnt mind dumping that money on the bow due the fact it is so adjustable in draw length and weight. Basically anyone can shoot it so if she didnt like it after awhile i had a back up or it would be easier to re-sell. THe biggest thing is to make sure she likes it and is comfortable in it. Not sure what your price range is but bows like this are great for beginners so they can grow into them as they get stronger. You may also look at the Hoyt Charger if you want a bow that is more standard as far as adjustment. Comes fully set up fpr about $650 with fairly decent accessories. Good luck.

p.s. The mission is a killer....she arrowed a 6' alaskan black bear last spring shooting FMJ's and shuttle T's. Bear went 30 yards....just my little proud boyfriend moment. Good luck again

The razor edge is a good place to start that is what I bought my girlfriend to start with. Then she got hooked and about a year later she traded it in for a custom carbon element dipped in muddy girl camo now she has a nicer bow than I do lol. The thing about the razor edge is it can be adjusted a long ways for both draw lengths and weight without buying new limbs or cams which makes it nice for someone just starting out. The only thing I have had a problem with on them is the set screw on the cable slide loosens up and eventually the slide will come out and the bow will explode and the cables will jump off. Not saying don't buy one just saying take five minutes to take that screw out and put a little lock tight on it. Hope this helps
