Trying to decide what bow to get, pretty new to bow hunting. This will be my 3rd year and I have been shooting my father in laws old bow that is only a 27" draw. I got measured and I'm a 29.5 or 30. I only have 4-500 dollars and I am looking on eBay at some Mathews reezen 6.5 around 400 but I would need to buy a different cam. Or a Hoyt alphamax 35 with a 29-30 draw that is going for around 450. They all have everything I would need to shoot I just don't know what one to go with... I was told the longer axel to axel on the Hoyt would be better for my long draw by I really like the looks and everything about the reezen which is a 32 axel-axel.

Need your opinions!

Thanks

I would go with the Hoyt AM35. My son shoots that bow and it is a very smooth drawing and very forgiving bow to shoot. Not to mention pretty fast as well. Also check out www.archerytalk.com and go to their forum classified ads lot of great bows ad good prices. Good luck

And in my opinion you don't want someone else's problem bow. Buy new. New bows usually come with a warranty, etc.

Good luck to you!

Well I ended up with an all black hoyt alphamax 35, I'm 6'4" with a 30" draw so should work good!.. Bow comes with a QAD drop away rest, Truglo 5 pin wrapped sight and a bohning chameleon quiver. In really good shape for $405 shipped to my door. I'm pretty stoked cant wait to start flinging arrows!!

I ALSO BOUGHT THE HOYT RAMPAGE XT, ITS NOT THE TOP OF THE LINE IN COST (1400 BUCKS BOW ALONE).....BUT WAS THE BEST BUY FOR THE $$$ FOR SURE. THE COMPLETE BOW PACKAGE WAS $650.00. , IT HAS SOME TOP END COMPONETS & IS AWESOME TO SHOOT.............YD.
