I'm in the market for a new, or newer Hoyt, but not sure which one. I've been thinking the carbon element, but not real excited about the price of one. How do the other bows compare to the CE. Should I get a spider or vector or something else? I know it all comes down to me and going and shooting different bows, just wondering what everyone else's opinion is. Thanks

I got a good deal on a Vector 35 this year and so far have loved shooting it. I think the vector series is awesome as well as any Hoyt. I'm definitely a Hoyt fan. The carbon bows are sweet but a hell of a lot of money. Limbs, cams, generally everything is the same but the riser. Depends on what you want to spend vs. the weight of your bow? Is it worth the extra buck? And of course what feels the best to shoot. Good luck

I'd get that regular spyder and not look back. For the extra cash you can upgrade your sight and rest, ect.

The carbon is cool but its just the riser, is that gonna make you shoot a bigger animal?

I would try the new hoyt factor! I just bought one day after thanksgiving & love it. I shot the spyder, carbon spyder, Mathews chill, & the faktor felt the best & a lot less than the carbon spyder.

Another good reason to look at the other bows mentioned above is if you get the Carbon Spyder, and have to order it, you are looking at a 10 to 14 week wait due to the current demand. I'm sitting at week 6 waiting on my Carbon Spyder Turbo!

I BOUGHT THE RAMPAGE XT.......LOVE THE BOW. MIDLINE PRICE....GREAT PERFORMANCE.......OH SO QUITE !!!!............YD.

I was in this same dilemma about 1 year ago, I wanted a newer Hoyt but not sure. After researching them I decided to get the Spyder Turbo, it is faster than the CE, just a few ounces heavier, but A LOT cheaper. So I figured for the extra money I can lug around a few more ounces but have a faster bow. Get a Spyder Turbo, you won't regret it.

Still waiting on my Carbon Spyder Turbo from Hoyt!! On week NINE...ugggghh!!!! Hope it comes soon!

I was shooting the spyder and the carbon element the last couple years. The alphamax 35 was honestly my favorite hoyt of all time. Actually just switched brands to the bowtech experience after being a faithful hoyt guy. Id recommend shooting one.. silky smooth draw cycle, forgiving 7inch brace height, good speed, quiet and the easiest bow to tune on the market as far as im concerned.

I have a Spyder 34 and it's the best bow I've ever had. I used to be a Mathews shooter and always wondered about Hoyt bows.

I've shot the Faktor but not the Carbon Spyder. If I were to buy a new bow now I'd likely go with the Faktor 34 as it's newer technology but I could barely tell much difference between my bow and it.
Shoot them all and buy the one you like the best.

I love my carbon spyder 34. I have had a carbon matrix and crx 35 they were great bows. I have shot vectors and spyders also. I would go out and shoot them. The one thing I will say is don't skimp and buy a charger or rampage xt they are junk!!! Buy a couple year old higher end bow if you can't afford a brand new bow. Just get out and shoot a bunch of them!

I shot the Mathews Q2, the drenlin LD then the helium. When I got the helium I really like the carbon element, but the guy at that shop said why pay more for a bow that weights the same as what mathews built in an aluminum riser?

After a couple years I couldn't get that Hyot out of my head because I thought it shot smoother and felt more dead in the hand. Pulled the trigger about 3 weeks ago on the Hyot Carbon Sypder Turbo and waiting for it to arrive.

I did really like my Drenlin LD and I think getting back to a slightly longer bow and still keeping it light for the backcountry will be a great thing. Also I am a 27 inch draw so to pick up an inch of power stroke with the shorter brace height will be great.

Bottom line with the CST is I'm picking up speed, getting a longer riser & axle to axle, staying light and upgrading in the sound department and feel. My shop sells the Carbon Sypder Turbo for 1,200 so while its not cheap, its not the 1,400-1,500 people throw around from time to time.

I'm excited. I was a loyal Mathews guy and still like them, but for me it was time to get serious so I got Hyot! My cousin and hunting partner was also in the market and chose the ChillR. That's a nice bow as well, but for me it felt like a big jerk into the valley. For him the ChillR felt better. He is a couple inches longer so maybe it is different on the bow he was drawing.
