I am wondering if anyone has had experience putting a Mr. Heater in a ground blind and not being detected. Just wondering if heat will affect current and move your smell out of blind to the game. I used one this fall and had deer come in about 1/3 of the time. All comments are welcome

I'm not positive but because of the propane and some type of flame less combustion there may be some type of odor that the game can detect. I also have used those Mr. heaters in tents for years and never had any odor issues that I could detect. But game have much keener senses. We use the Grabber 12 Hour Mega heat packs and military grade quality long johns by Morgan. If conditions are extremely cold near 0 F we put one 12hr pack in each pants pocket and one in each shirt pocket and stay pretty toasty :) with a quality hooded Parka.

Little late to the party but all flammable gases like that have an odorant added for easy human detection and hopeful safe precautions thereafter. We all know that smell too well. So I can only assume that being out of place for any animal it would cause them to beat feet out of there.
