Looking to get a new range finder for bowhunting. Has anyone bought the Nikon Archers choice? Have heard mixed reviews, the newest versions have gotten good press. Thoughts?

I dont think that i am educated enough on the new products but I have used a Nikon for multiple seasons and have loved it. I didnt get the archers choice because i like long distance shooting with the rifle. Nikon has been a good choice for my application.

Leupold also makes a nice Rangefinder the RX Full Draw does the incline TBR out to 175 yards in the bow mode and converts to line of sight out past the 175 ranging to 800yds making great for rifle hunting. Very clear optic and works great.

I used the Nikon for a couple seasons, but the light gathering on them is poor during low light. I switched to the vortex ranger 1000. Much brighter and the red display is easy to see.
