Looking for a Good Time

Alright, I know that people aren't going to tell me where exactly they hunt and everything, but I need a little bit of help. I'm trying to find and area that I'm going to have a good time in this archery season! I'm not looking for a giant buck or a huge elk! I'm trying to find an area that is going to give me a lot of opportunity at smaller bucks and hopefully elk, spike or bulls. Either way! I really need some help and guidance! I'm 17 and have been trying to figure out the whole bow hunting thing by my self since I was 12 and I've had no success!! All help is appreciated! THANKS!

Just out of curiosity, where do you go to school I'm the same age. As for the hunting, I could easily point you in the right direction for deer. As long as you can shoot alright I feel like you should have no problem getting a buck on the archery hunt. I passed on at least 20 smaller bucks, and saw 4 bucks that I would classify as "big" 160" +. In the end I shot a 15"-18" three point, but someone stole it while I was giving it some time before I tracked it. I'll pm you the unit name.

What area's of the state are you looking to hunt?
