Hey guys I hope everyone is doing well. So I bought a Hoyt Charger package recently, which included a 5 pin Fuse sight. To be honest I am not impressed with the sight system. This is my first fiber sight set up and I find it hard to make minor adjustments. Every time I just want to move the sight pin just a little bit I have to loosen it a ton and of course the pin tries to go elsewhere. Than of course once I start tightening it down the pin starts rotating. I hope I am making sense. I am also interested in going to a 7 pin sight instead of a 5 pin sight. So far I feel like I want to try the Trophy Ridge Cypher 7 pin sight. What is your impression of this sight? Do you guys have another one in mind I should look at? I am not looking at spending more than $140.00, preferably less. Thanks guys.

LAST EDITED ON Apr-07-14 AT 03:55PM (MST)[p]I recently got a Trophy Ridge Micro Hitman 7-pin sight for my Bowtech Experience, and I really like it. The pin housing is very similar to the Micro Cypher sight, but I like that it is aluminum instead of plastic - just a personal preference because I have had problems in the past with sights with a plastic housing. I got it for about $85 on Amazon. It has micro adjustments, it is available in .019 or .010 size pins, and the pins are super-bright even without the included LED light because they have 12 inches of fiber optic fibers attached to each pin. Just a side note, the micro-adjustment doesn't move each pin individually; it only moves all of them at one time, but I didn't have any issues getting everything right on, and it is nice being able to tweak it just a little bit if necessary. Good luck!

Funny you mention the Hitman, I started asking myself why the cypher was more expensive than the Hitman. Thanks for the pointers! I too would prefer the aluminum over plastic, and the micro adjustments would be good. Thanks again
