Took the Plunge!

I finally took the plunge and ordered my first bow last night. Going with the Hoyt Charger... seems hard to beat for the money. I ordered a blank bow (vs. the package they offer) and am setting it up with a Black Gold Rush sight, and a Trophy Taker X-treme FC rest. Should get me on my way. My dad has a similar setup and it shoots great!

Excellent choice! I just bought my Charger in April, and I love it. The only regret I have is that I bought the package. I do not like the fuse sight or the quiver it came with. After this September I am gonna get a new Montana Black Gold Ascent sight. Then ill have to find a new quiver. So kudos for you on getting just the bow. You will be very happy with the Charger.

Thanks everyone. The bow FINALLY came in today and I went right in to get it setup. In addition to the Black Gold sign and Trophy taker sight, I picked up a Tight Spot quiver and a Scott release. Total cost for the accessories was more than the bow, but I love the setup and have confidence in it. Now I've got to get dialed in for the season; it's approaching fast!
