I scored my first Robin Hood ever this weekend! Me and my friend were shooting from 60 yards and lo and behold I shot my arrow. At first I thought I had missed and hit the wall or something based on the sound it made. Anyway, Pretty cool I thought even though it cost me a high priced carbon arrow!

They are morons on myth busters. There was a episode that they sat there and for like 20 minutes couldn't figure out how to see if a microwave cooks from the inside out or out side in. I was like you idiots just put a roast in there and turn it on. Later they did just that, I was like OMG!

My niece shot the only true robin hood I ever witnessed. She asked to shoot my compound because she had only shot traditional, 1st shot at 20 yards high and left of the bull (the bow was sighted in for me of course) Next shot ROBIN HOOD!

Nice shootin!
I got my first one back in 1993. I'd been shooting a bow for 9 years and had never gotten one or seen one. (Back in the days of aluminum arrows with tapered nock ends it was tougher to Robin Hood.) Was shooting at the archery range of the conservation area I worked at and I nailed my arrow at 30 yards. 5 minutes later the other guy shooting with me Robin Hooded one of his arrows. 2 Robin Hoods in 5 minutes. That was cool!

Oh nice! Getting a robin hood is always bitter sweet. Good shoot'n. As far as the mythbusters thing goes ,and I could be wrong, but I think they were saying the original myth of Robin hood shooting the arrow in half was imposible because of the grain of a wooden arrow.
