The passed 5 years I have shot the NAP fixed blade broad heads first 2 deer I hit I had great success with them shot placement was good 1st was a heart shot clean pass through deer went 10 yards second deer was a lungs he went 50 yards arrow didn't pass through the shot was 17 yards neither of these deer left me a blood trail. Only one of them even left a drop of blood behind. I am in need of new broad heads and was talked into purchasing some rage 3 blade 100 grain 1.5 in cut mechanical broad heads any experience with these? How do you like them? I'm shooting a alpine bow code red drop away rest 70 pound draw weight hunting mule deer from spot and stalk.

ive had great luck with the rage broadheads, i shot the three blade for a year and switched to the two blade and have shot that the last 4 years and loved them. massive wound channels and blood trails!!

That's what in looking for much better blood trails. The last deer I took went 145 yards zero blood trail luck of the draw to actually find that thing. Searches high and low at night til 1 am had to go to bed and return the next morning to find him. I'm hoping these broad heads and more practice will help me out.

I cant comment on the three blade Rage , but I have had incredible success with the Rage two blade heads . I have taken three bucks , ranging from 20-40 yds . Shot placement on all three was perfect , followed by massive blood trails . In my case blood trailing hasn't been necessary , all thee have died within 50 yds / within sight . I cant say enough good things about Rage products , good luck with whichever you decide

i agree D6, ive killed two bucks with my two blade rage, one at 55yards and the other at 20yards, they both went 30 yards and died

I HAVE HAD GREAT RESULTS WITH THE ULMER EDGE BH. SLEEK, 2 BLAND, WELL THOUGHT OUT BH. GOGGLE THE PROMO.........YOU WILL LIKE IT......................................YD.

I wouldn't worry a bit about shooting mechanicals, there are some very well designed heads on the market especially if you've had fixed blade flight issues in the past. Try'em you'll more than likely never go back.

Also a fan of the Ulmer Edge! Killed my first deer with them this year! Had a good blood trail on them as well! IMO one of the best mechanical broad heads out there along with that hypodermic by rage is also awesome!

I worked on a hunting ranch for five years. I saw every Broadhead imaginable shot at hundreds of pigs. The only mechanical broadheads I have seen not fail are meat seekers. I have never had an animal go more than 40 yards when shot with these broadheads. Any Broadhead that deploys through contact with the blades has a chance of failing. With meat seekers the blades fully deploy before even touching the animal due to a piston that is driven by the tip of the broadhead Yes I have seen rage broadheads fail more times than others. They leave a gaping hole due to the way they open but don't always reflect that on the soft inner tissues. The way I see it if the Broadhead has failed once it's not worth the risk to use it on a live animal
