My bow is a 2014 Hoyt Charger with a QAD drop away rest. My draw is 29" with 70 pounds set on my bow. My arrows are Gold Tip Hunter XT 340s. I just noticed that the Gold Tip chart says that at 69 pounds to use 340s, and at 70 pounds to use 300s. Does that one pound really make a difference in being under spined? I am happy with my accuracy I am getting, I can shoot a 12" group at 100 yards. But will being under spined by a pound effect broadhead tuning?

Each bow/arrow combo reacts differently in relation to arrow spine. The weight of your tip, cam style and even your fletching all play a role in the reaction.

If your accuracy (especially with broad heads) is good, I wouldn't change anything. If your BHs tend to hit right, it's a sign of a weak spine.
Before you go to the expense of new arrows, you could let your bow down a few lbs and see what happens to your group size.

That being said, I would rather shoot an arrow that's over spined than an arrow that's under spined. I found myself right on the cusp of two (.340-.300) arrows. My groups were much more consistent with the .300 spine.
