Anyone try the Victory Armor Piercing arrows?

I was looking at the Victory website and was looking at the VAP, it sounds like a good idea for big game hunting. Have any of you had any experience with these arrows? Do they get better accuracy and penetration? Or at least enough to justify the price.

These are now the only arrows I buy. I really didn't think they were too much more expensive than the other brands and I bought the 350 I think, I would have to go home and look. Got the tightest straightness tolerances. My groups were great! I don't have the new inserts but I have the other ones which I believe were 43 gr. The worst part about these arrows is I had to buy a newer very expensive target because they would go through everything and after about 3 shots, the fletchings would start tearing off. Outstanding penetration and it sure does make a lot of sense. Very small diameter also had to modify my quiver because they would start sliding out a little. Try some, I think you will be impressed!

I like the arrows and shot them for a couple years. My problem with them is the outserts. They are terrible. They have redone the design of the outserts numerous times and they have gotten slightly better. If I used them again I would either do the stainless steal outserts or the deep six inserts in them . Preferably the deep six but only if my broadhead company would make a head compatible with the deep six head.
