Sight Level/Bubble

Greetings my fellow bowhunters.

I'm having a problem with my groupings and I suspect the bubble level on my sight is off.

I can sight in and shoot good groups at 70-80 yards but as I shoot closer I'm hitting to the right. Or if I sight in for 20-50 yards I'll hit left at 60-80 yards.

My bubble is not adjustable so I'll have to try to remove the glue and reset it.

Anyone have this problem? And is so what was you solution?

Thanks...

does your sight have an adjustment for "third axis"? I would say that is the place to start. Also, be very cognizant of your grip when shooting.

I've had this problem and it turned out to be the rest. sighted in at 20 and the arrows would start going right not really noticeable until 60yards or further. dialed it in at 40 and would shoot left at 20 and right at 60. it just took a little fine tuning and all is well now.hope it helps

No third axis adjustment on the sight. I thought about playing with the rest and it's something I'll try but the arrows are flying clean and I had it paper tuned last week. That's why I thought the level might be off. But I'll play with rest a bit and see what happens.

Make sure the rest and pins are tight. Watch your grip as said above....it's not your bubble level. We took ours totally off and added another pin.....you don't need that bubble level to shoot....just shoot.....maybe when aiming you are focusing to much on the bubble and not watching form, the wrist, and following through? Just thought I would throw that out there for you to think about. What size peep you using....if large try a medium size peep it is much easier to center your pin consistently on a smaller sized peep.
Good luck,

Definitely not your actual bubble. Either equipment or form issue.......with the later being the most probable.
