A1 tag ca first year

I drew an a1 tag , it covers zones c1-4 I'm just lookin for any pointers on where I might have the best luck , it's my first time bow hunting I would greatly appreciate any pointers , thanks

The four zones comprise a large area. Unfortunately, there's 1,944 other hunters, so it can get crowded, depending where you go.
You can google ?CA Deer spot kill map?. It only covers C4 (not C1-3), but it's a starting point for C4.

There must be a large increase in archers this year, because I know 2 people who had A1 as their second (applied separately) choice and neither drew, but about 6 or 7 others I know all drew as their 2nd choice.
Unlike last year and all years past, A1 tags made it to the 3rd round of the draw.
