Most accurate fixed broadhead?

Well, my bows are tuned to perfection so Stinger, razorcap, vpa, steelforce, samarai, werewolf, it doesn't matter, they all fly with field points to 80 yards. ymmv

I've only tried about 4 different heads but ever since I put G5 strikers on I've been more than satisfied. There are a lot of great heads out there and most should fly good out of a well tuned bow. Personally I prefer the strikers.

When I conducted a broadhead test (non-mechanical) using a Hooter Shooter machine, I was looking for the most consistent head that flew as close to field points as i could. The closest (within .5" @ 80 yards) and most consistent was the Wac'em Triton 100 grain. The second best was the original Slick Trick. Next in line were Stingers, Shuttle T's, VPA, G5's, and Exodus were all about the same.......not bad, but the best.

Wac'em heads fly incredible.....of course that's when Scott & Sharon (Utah) owned the business. They have since sold it to Ammoland out of Alabama. Their customer service has suffered some, IMO.....but the heads still fly well. Hope it helps and have fun this season!

Most accurate has been the WacEms or the Shuttle T's. Since WAC ems sold things have changed. Shuttle T's fly great to 90+ yards for me and are way more durable and sturdy.

I use muzzy mx3's and just finished broadhead tuning. Now my field points are way off. Thinking of switching to mechanicals. I've heard they fly much more similar to field points.

I think that is a question really without a correct answer. Every single bow is going to perform a little differently, even bows of the same manufacturer and model. And then on top of that each will be tuned a little different. That means each and every bow will shoot a broadhead a little different. If there really was a fixed broadhead on the market that shot with field point accuracy out of every bow setup then we'd all be using it and there wouldn't be 10 million answers to this question.

For me, I slapped on some g5 strikers this weekend and expected to move my sight housing a little to get them hitting the bullseye. To my surprise they have the exact same point of impact out to 80 yards (max my sight goes). Now my cousin has the exact same Prime setup and he had to adjust a little.

So the answer is there is now answer, in my opinion of course.

Exactly what I did. My mx-3s were shooting all over the place so I created this forum to see what you guys think are good fixed blade heads. Ended up switching to a NAP spitfire because I've heard only good experiences with them. The spitfires fly identical to my field points unlike my mx-3s.

Sonic heads for accuracy are tough to beat but hard to find. Slick tricks fly really good as a 2 blade but as a 4 blade I couldn't get them to group with my fieldpoints. Just picked up some QAD Exodus broadheads and they are the real deal. Tough, sharp and they fly the same as my field points out to 100 yards. I'm sold on these bad boys.

I use mechanicals mostly, but also hunt states where they are not allowed. I tried 5 brands of fixed and found Slick Tricks to be the most accurate in my setup. It was surprising how much of a difference there was from one head to the next. Worth trying a few, but can be cost prohibitive.

We also conducted a test using 3 different shooters, and different bows.
We came to the same conclusions as Bohntr:
-Wacem
-Slick tricks

I've been shooting Muzzy broadheads for over 25 years and the MX3 ever since they came out. If your MX3's are shooting all over the place, it's not the broadhead, trust me. Expandables will not solve your problem either. Start with your form and bow tuning. Ed F
