Ha yes quick, my first buck ever taken on opening day. I have never hunted on the book cliffs before so talking to other hunters it isn't what it used to be. I hunted the northern portion by the divide road and I saw lots and lots of animals, too many 24'' 4 points to count and tons of smaller bucks. I did also see lots of big deer but you definitely had to work to see them and get off the main roads. Overall such a fantastic hunting experience. Saw lots of bucks and was happy at the end of the day with the one I got to take home. Wasn't overwhelmed with hunters opening weekend where I was at so that was nice, I did here the southern end by the roadless was pretty crazy but did not go down there.

My antelope from the Pausnsaugunt. Got him opening morning already chasing a doe. This hunt was way more fun than I was expecting. Rough scores high enough for P&Y but it will be close after the drying period, we'll see.

LAST EDITED ON Sep-19-15 AT 09:18PM (MST)[p]Well at the last hour on the last day....I was able to get a buck from the Bookcliffs. So many people hunting.....only one day to hunt. Im pretty happy with my results. Thanks to all those who gave me advise. Oh and the other bonus, my buck is way bigger than my brothers.
