First blood with new bow and biggest buck to date, New Breed-Genetics, I love this bow. Dropped him off at taxidermist yesterday and am very excited and blessed!

Thanks!I shot him on the 2nd in late afternoon after seeing a monster 5 point that morning that would have easily went 200, had him at 30yds but was to thick to make a shot. After deciding to try and sneak a little bit closer the wind swirled and he busted out of site forever. The wind was not cooperating where my treestand was (above where the big 5 point and another large 4 point bed) so I elected to sit across the draw so the wind was in my favor and hoped and prayed that one of them would come back and step into one of numerous small clearins which would give me a perfect 40-50 yard shot. At 7 pm I had this buck and a big deep forked 2 pointer start feeding up the drainage to me from about 80 yds. At 30 yards they turned slightly facing the bedding area and once they both started quartering away I was able to raise my bow up and while shaking like a leaf was still able to make a good shot, hit just a tad back from where I wanted, barely missing the heart but clipped one lung and straight threw the other and partly out the shoulder blade on opposite side, breaking my arrow/broadhead off. He ran across and down a little further than I was expecting or wanted him to but after an hour was able to find him! After field dressing, a LONG horrible drag to the bottom of the mountain to the road and a SUPER LONG Steep hike back over the mountain to the truck in the dark (forgot flashlight in truck and phone was dead, was able to get hime back to camp and caped and hung. Made for a very long but exciting day. The next day I woke up extremely sick and was gunna stay until Saturday evening elk hunting but came back early yesterday morning (friday) cause Ive got a bad respiratory infection and feel like crap and drained all my enthusiasm and energy. I hope to make it back up before the end of the month for elk but unsure. Didnt see a single one but definitely heard quite a few.

Great buck! Congratulations!
