BEAR ARCHERY

I think their trad bows are the best factory bows on the market. Not so impressed with their compounds. In all fairness, I haven't shot either of the Arena models, though.

I'm not really an archer but I have shot some on and off for the last 40 years but had gotten out of it. I retired three years ago and decided to buy me a new bow. Bought a Bear Legion ready to hunt for $400. Best bow I ever owned. A lot better than a Hoyt I owned 15 years ago that I paid a lot more money for. Draws and shoots smooth and quiet.

Of course I understand there are a lot better bows but this is a good bow for the price.

Bows continue to improve and it wouldn't be unreasonable to think a low end bow today is better than a high end bow of 20 years ago.

I shoot a 2014 Domain.

I only just started getting into archery a year ago but after shooting all the bows at the local bass pro I ended up being a fan of the domain.

Went home and did some research then I picked up the RTH package for $350 shipped to my door from a retailer in Wisconsin that had them on sale around this time last year. It may not be the fastest bow in the world or the quietest but it will put an arrow where I'm aiming as long as I do my part and for the price I figured it was a no-brainer.

Just to be clear, I've never shot any of the high end bows like Hoyt, Matthews, Elite, etc. so maybe I just don't know what I'm missing but so far I've got no complaints.

My first compound was the Bear White tail 2 ,then a York ,hoyt maxxs 31,bowtech 360 rpm and the insanity.I just bought the new PSE carbon air I like it a lot and it shoots nice,Im gonna sell the Bowtech rpm and insanity.
