Best broadhead for bear

Hi everyone

I'm looking for advice and opinions in regards to the best broadhead for killing bears. I plan to shoot a bear with my bow next month. Typically I would look for a broadhead that flies well at longer distances. I have used Grim Reapers for several years with great success on deer and elk. My first reaction is to stick with that broadhead on a bear, as that is what I am accustomed to shooting, but wanted to hear if anyone had experiences, both good or bad specifically on bear, and certain broadheads. I expect to be shooting around 20 yards. Any advice and experiences on bears and specific broadheads appreciated.

Thanks all and happy hunting!

Any good broadhead will kill a black bear if placed in the vitals, if you are confident with your Grim Reapers shoot them. avoid high shoulder hits and aim a little higher than normal if shooting out of an elevated stand at 20 yards. The last two bears I have shot with Slik Triks have went less than 50 yards before expiring. Good luck!!

Bears are thin skinned and easy with a bow. Any sharp head will do. Aim slightly forward of middle, middle.

Their hair is long which makes the body seem bigger than it is. Lots of guys think they have a good hit on a bear when in fact they hit low or high because the hair is so long. Bears vitals are further back than a deer or elk. You will feel like you're gut shooting them but you aren't.

I've taken one bear with a shuttle-t , worked well . The bear was over hounds , due to the extreme upward angle the broad head got one lung and broke the bears spine , he expired very quickly.
