MM'ers!

Quick tuning question for you: I recently picked up a Pro defiant and am shooting FMJ 5mm's w/ blazer vanes and QAD ultra rest. I'm sighting down the nocked arrow and it does NOT look like the ##### vane in the normal12 o'clock position will work as in older Hoyts I've had....? Looks like the inside fletchings will hit the cables, since the zero clearance cable guard won't allow cables to flex away and out?

Looks like you may HAVE to set ##### to a 1 o'clock position with no other options??? Even with this, I'm concerned the lower cane won't fully clear the rest now....

Honestly a little frustrated with the small amount of clearance it looks like this is giving me. My pro shop set it up, papered it...and bullet holes! So I'm confused...

Thoughts? Suggestions? What have you Hoyt guys seen or done?

I don't have a Hoyt, but on my old Bear and my new Prime, i shoot with one vane out 90 degrees (towards my cheek) then the two inside vanes don't have any clearance issues. If your QAD is properly adjusted you shouldn't have any issues as it should be fully down and out of the way of your bottom vane.

Watch this video below and you can see the timing of the QAD ultra in action.
