Broadheads for Bears

Me & my buddies have shot 5 bears out of the same tree stand over the last decade. All were shot inside of 30 yards with grim reapers & all 5 bears died within a 20 yard radius circle within each other......70-80 yards from where they were hit. If you're planning on using a mechanical head I can highly recommend them. Just stay away from that shoulder & you will be fine. Bears die quick when hit good.

Assuming your talking black bears, any good mechanical should do the trick as they are not very thick skinned. As already stated, reapers will get it done and I had plenty of good results with the dead meats, the bmp point truly does fly like the head. and that coming from a guy who primarily shoots fixed. Just to avoid that conversation. At the end of the day shoot what gives you confidence and you'll kill

I shoot a bear with a rocket steelhead, it didn't go far. Shot placement is key.
