New compound bow

LAST EDITED ON May-05-18 AT 04:16PM (MST)[p]I ordered a new bow from amazon called barnett vortex hunter with 45 to 60 draw weight 26 to 30 draw length it was factory set at 29 7/8 draw length and 62 pound draw I pulled it out of the box and tried pulling it back I couldnt even pull it back so I looked in the package and there was some plastic modules b, c, d, e they had f modules factory installed I removed the f modules with the allen wrench that came with the bow and put on b modules the b modules had 26.25 draw lengh so I shortened it to 26 from 29 so now I can pull it back and then I turned the limb bolts 3 turns loose and got it at 45 pound draw weight so now im shooting the bow at 26 draw lengh and 45 pound draw weight and now I can pull It back

I also ordered some archery gear for it a trufire patriot caliper release a, scoil stabilzer a ,peep sight, nocking points,nocking pliers

Practice a ton. 5-6 days a week. Your arm strength will increase and by season 55-60lbs will be comfortable.
