Grim Reaper vs Moose Ribs

Any one have any experience with Grim Reapers hitting moose or elk ribs? Going to attempt to shot a moose with my bow this year and trying to narrow down broadheads. Used reapers for deer but the age old debate of expandables on bigger critters worries me.

I thought you were talking about a couple of WWF wrestlers ?

Lots of experience with expandable similar to grim reapers and I would shoot a sharp cut on contact fixed head like Montec, Shuttle T, iron will look great but spendy. Shot selection will be key, broadside shots only I would think. Keep us posted when you shoot your moose!

I like big VPA broadheads for big animals.
They are machined out of one solid chunk of steel.
The most accurate, long lasting, and toughest broadhead I have found, and I have tried a bunch over the last 40 years.
I shoot them on my arrows year round, they sharpen up nicely when the hunt comes. I like the 150 grain 3 blade but they are all awesome heads. I have shot pass through shots on deer and still kept the head in my quiver, and it still shot great at 90 yards.

I'd say that's an easy win for the moose ribs! A good C.O.C. head, maybe even a 125 grain, with some fmj behind them is one of your best bets.
