Hi all I was wondering if anyone knew anything about the walla walla unit for archery deer. I drew that unit this year and was wondering if anybody knew anything about this area. I have never really been up there since last weekend to scout and didn't find many deer, I found a lot of elk though. I am already planning on taking a week off of work to hunt opening week this year and was wondering if it would be really worth heading up there. The reason I ask this is because I am still going to get a general elk tag and would it be worth wasting a week of vacation hunting for deer in the walla walla unit over hunting a general unit with my elk tag and most likely run into so ?basic? deer where I know I will find some elk too?
