Alaska moose and caribou

I was wondering what to expect tppay for a drop camp hunt for moose and caribou would cost for a non-resident. I just popped in here on this forum and thought I would drop the question, because there seams to be a lot of knowledgeable people who have done the same thing. Thanks in advance!! Muledeernut

including airfare from where you live hotels, food, tags and the air charter for the drop hunt, probably around 4 grand. most moose/caribou drop hunts are over 2500 and the good ones are up near 3500 per person.
what might be a better option for you, do some research with alaska fish and game and contact a air charter who's not a licensed transporter then you'll pay by the hour that you fly not a package deal. usually come out pretty close to the same though. but its another option. or get a charter to fly you in, and raft out? rent a raft and then only pay for half the flying.
