You might want to make reservations if you use a charter boat. I don't know any but if you contact the Chamber of Commerse they can provide you with a list. Here is the link,

The fishing should be great. Take some pics for us!

Contact Kenai Riverbend Resort in Soldatna. They have two boats in Seward and the captains are really good, ask to have Frank.

We went had a blast. Camped on the Russian cought a ton of Silvers, Fresh reds that came late, Some Dollies and Rainbows.
Went to Seward they said the fish hadn't really came but we did ok went out for half day cought a bunch fo silvers and had a bunch get off. Then off to Hommer for Halibut. We got good seas and weather what a trip, It only took a few to catch limits of Halibut but nothing big 50-60 lbs. What a blast with my son. Rained the whole trip we seen 6 bear and one got shot on the Russian while we were there. Can't wait to go back.

Sweet pics Rut! Those halibut about that size are the best eating. No seasickness in that flat water!

The second photo. The sixth fish from the left. That would be the only one you caught, right? :) Just kidding.

Wish I had been up there with you!

Eel that Halibut is so sweet. The sixth fish is the one the guide caught and for chits and giggles he stuck it in his mouth for the photo shoot. Well the eyeball came out in his mouth. Retarded sucker it was so funny. The water was so great!!

I'll trade you a moose steak for a fillet of silver or red. : ) We were up on the Kenai Penninsula and drove by the Russian River. It was hard to remember what I went up there for. I couldn't believe the weather. On the way up the forcast was for non-stop rain for at least ten days. It ended up being gorgeous bluebird skys and the locals said we were the luckiest by timing the break in the weather just right.
