My daughter and I are looking to go brown bear hunting in the spring of 2010. I'm starting my seach looking for advice? guides? april or may? Thanks for any info.

I studied this very topic for years before committing my hard earned cash, and was rewarded with a 10 foot plus Boone & Crockett Kodiak Brown Bear.
I HIGHLY recomend the first spring hunt.
The biggest boars tend to emerge first from the den.
Any later and you risk seeing nothing but "rubbed" bears, you definatley do not want a rubbed bear.
Kodiak and the Alaska peninsula are the only realistic options for a reasonable shot at a real monster.
I have a list of TOP NOTCH outfitters you need to check out before you spend a small fortune!
