WOW! I've always wanted to do the Kodiak deer hunt thing, but with a story and pics like that, I feel I've just done it!:) Very good job!

Congrats on the Harlequins! Oh, and the deer too!:)

P.S. No flip-flops?????:(

LOL EEL on the Flip Flops.

The story was I was going to do several fun events with flip flops on this trip. With work, Scouts, other hunts and everything else this trip snuck up on me. I started packing 10PM the niht before. 'Bugler was on the same packing schedule and we were packing and calling each other coordinating till the wee hours of the morning. On the plane we were thinking about what funny pics to take. When we go to Kodiak, 'Buglers bow was missing and when we were looking for Pink fuzzy flip flops at walmart, the mood just wasn't there. Next thing we knew we were hunting. So the Handstand Pics is all ya have :)

Price per animal and per oppertunity it was a good hunt. I'm guessing I'd do it again jsut for fun in the future. I would say it's a good kids hunt with the ease of it and the shooting chances but the bears make me nervous.

We've thought about just renting a cabin and going in on a Blind hunt. It kind of sounds fun. We're thinking of it more for the Black bear side of things.... Who knows, maybe this spring :)
