Kenai King

I'm really making sure if I can post a picture, I hope it works.

This is a king that my 12 year old son caught this past July on the Kenai river, what's your guess on the weight. No, it hasn't been doctor'd.

I"m guessing that king to weigh in the 60-65 lb. range. My son caught a very similar king when he was younger, but he caught his on the Kasilof River. It was 53" long, and the guides scale was all rusty and we couldn't get it to work. It only stretched that spring down to 53 pounds. It taped out at more like 65 pounds. Your son's fish looks very similar.

Congratulations on him having a great memory and a wonderful fish. It'll be great eating, for sure.
