Anyone have any information or first hand experience with Max Schwab ?out of Talkeetna I believe. Just looking at a hunt in 09 in Alaska and looking for some info.

I booked a hunt for Max's first sheep hunt in 07. Max takes care of his clients. He has good guides, and knows his area well. I had a couple days to scout, and shot a beautiful 38" ram out of a herd of 18 rams. The Alaska Range isn't known for huge rams, but that wasn't what I was looking for. I believe Max is booked thru 09, but I am not sure. Send me a pm if you want mor info.

I have a couple of friends that went with Max as well. They both shot nice rams in a year when the fires were horrible and the smoke limited visibility. Send me a PM and I will give you their contact info. Had a friend last year shot a 38" ram and 63" moose. Said it was the hunt of a lifetime.
