Does anyone have a line on an outfitter that does the yacht hunt for coastal blacks?

What area?

Prince William Sound or Southeast?

What do you mean by yacht?

Luxury accomodations, nice boat, or will a fishing boat do it?

And are you after skull size or hide size? cuz some areas are better for B&C skulls.

Well I watched Jim Zumbo hunt from a boat for Black Bear in BC. It was not a luxury boat but a comfortable boat. By yacht I mean a boat that can room and board 4 hunters or so. The boat would be camp in other words.
Hide size.
As far as area I no nothing and I am just now starting to investigate.

I have been on 6 costal bear hunts with Scott Mcleod of Raven Guide service. He is a great friend and a master bear hunter to say the least. He is third generation from Sitka and has a great boat and setup! BIG bears! I harvested a blacky squared 7ft 6in and have filmed 4 friends and different clients with bears all over 7 ft. His brown bear hunts are amazing as well. Its one of the most truly unique hunts in the world! Let me know if you need any info.

Trophy West on Vancouver Island does coastal boat hunts as well. I hunted with them last year on an interior island hunt, but if their boat hunts are anything like their island hunts I can guarantee you it would be first class. Drop me a line if you want pictures or more info.
