Has anyone hunted with Phil Shoemaker? I wont be going for a few years, but i think Phil has a waiting list. also how does his price compare? i havent emailed him yet but am guessing its gonna be 15k+?

You should have attended the Expo auction last week. They had 2 quality brown bear hunts go in the $5k range.

I know several other guys that consistently produce ten footers.

I would not go anywhere but Kodiak or the peninsula.

WOW! They Truely are Amazing Animals... i was in a kalispell tannery not to long ago and 'ol bill had a couple costal brown bears in from the AK range even after tanning the bears you could still smell the salmon oil's in between their claws.. its amazing how large they get from their diet of slamon.. i was aw struck...
