Here's a quick run down of my recent fishing trip. We started with a day of Halibut Fishing in Homer. We had two days scheduled but the 2nd day was cancelled due to rough seas and wind. Brian was our Caption with Midnight Sun Charters.

If any of you remember the prank thread I started awhile back the Steenbuck Jim jokes continue. My Buddies showed up to dinner one night wearing matching shirts that read , Fished With Steenbuck Jim. Ha ha.

Next we were off to the Kenai River on a half day Charter. We Fished with Casey Malepsy owner of Casey's Guide Service. This turned out to be the highlight of the trip as all 3 of us got Kings.

We never got into any big Halibut but it was a fun trip.

Awesome! Thanks for the post.I was up there the end of May. We caught some kings on the Kasilof, but it was slow on the Kenai. I dug some razor clams too.

I finally caught my first butt over 100 last year after 3 years of trying. Lots of chickens it seems. Caught him while fishing for ling cod--go figure.
