Citric Acid Recipe

I was reading an article about using citric acid to keep flys off game meat. It stated that you soaked the game bags in this stuff and let them dry before using. This supposedly works better then pepper. I was unable to find this recipe only a couple of places that sold it. Does anyone know what the ingredients are? If this works good I could knock a couple of pounds worth of pepper off my pack.

Find the Alaska dept fish and game. It was on a video I saw from them that detailed the citric acid recipe. I will use that the next time I go also. I know from Taxidermy you can also buy citric acid in powder form and mix with water to form the spray needed. Could be same weight as pepper but more of a punch.
