Wild Alaska Cruises?

Anyone ever been on a fishing/hunting trip with Wild Alaska Cruises out of Juneau? The bear hunts are DIY/self guided but the fishing is actually the trip for 6 days. The trip is aboard the 85ft ship Perserverance.

My wife and I have booked a trip next May with them and I plan to also black bear hunt (presuming I draw the tag).

Any comments or thoughts from folks would be sincerely appreciated.

Lived in Juneau for 40+ years. You'll be hunting Unit 1C most likely. I can give you some spots to try if they can't/won't give suggestions (and they legally shouldn't if they are only a transporter/outfitter).

I know everything south of town from Juneau to Holkham Bay pretty well. Good chance at a cinnimon bear. But you better be able to tell a brownie from a blackie as they are mixed in this area.

A 7-footer from the area you'll probably hunt. Slight cinammon phase. My son's buddy shot it while cruising the shorelines for spring boars.
