My best friend is graduating HS next year. Ya it's my Son. I would like to take him and his grandfather on a trip fishing in Alaska. Looking for possible leads and reasonable accommodations. Please PM me with ideas and guides.. Would like to make this happen for both son and grandfather in the summer of 2014.

Thanks for the info.

Check out papa bears adventures. They do float trips on the rivers up there.

Let me guess, you drive a 1 ton with oak trees for smoke stacks, 12" lift kit and 40" tires to pull a single place lawn mower trailer?

If you want a great trip, great fishing, awesome food and catch a lot of fish, looks at majestic expeditions. I went with my son and father. Fish inner passage which tends to be calm. Great trip. I prefer rafting and doing it myself and it costs less, but it is a lot more work and I don't catch as much and due to no freezer I can't bring home near as much fish, but the experience of being on a river and catching salmon with no one else there is awesome. I prefer silver as I catch more but not as large as king, sure messes up my bow hunt though.

LAST EDITED ON Jun-24-13 AT 12:26PM (MST)[p]Check out some of the live-aboard 3-5 day fishing cruises. I have looked around and they sure look like a great trip, a little more $$$ but what an experience. Some of the outfits I looked into were;

Alaska Fishing Cruises
Wild Alaska Cruises
Alaska Good Times Charters
