Howdy,

I just visited with a friend who got back from hunting for moose in the great state of Alaska. He told me that one of the natives that hunted in his party had the "proxy" tag from a disabled hunter in his home town. Is this legal in Alaska? Is there really a state game and fish agency who will allow this? How does it work?

Nice new forum Brian.

Hey Coach, in Alaska if you are over the age of 65, or 70%disabled, or blind---and a resident of the state, you can give a proxy to another resident of the state to hunt only deer, caribou or moose. It is a good law.
