Three of us got back on the 19th of September. We hunted Kodiak 9 days, mainly for Caribou, but also for deer. Weather was perfect, oddly it did not rain! The third day, I got a nice caribou, not the biggest, but it was a real learning curve for me. For deer, we were in an area that didn't have alot of deer, but I made a 60 yard double lung shot on a nice 7 pointer. The deer were all high up, but by Nov., they should be alittle lower. In all, one of the best hunting trips I've taken. Make sure your'e in top physical condition.
