Caribou DIY drop camp

Hi guys. I know many have posted on this topic in the past, but I do know every year changes and there are different experiences and different outfitters that are available. I'm looking to do a DIY caribou drop camp for a group of 4 of us total, myself and my dad along with my best friend and his dad. We are wanting to do a trip maybe out of Kotzebue with an outfitter/transporter in the next couple of years. I have been researching online the best I can and just want to reach out and see of any recommendations and experiences that you have had in the last year or 2. Any input would be great!!! Thanks in advance!

We just got back from Alaska from Arctic Air out of Kotzebue. It was a great hunt, we saw probably around 400 caribou and probably saw 30 or so bulls that we would have shot that we thought were pretty good bulls to us. I would do it again and go through Arctic Air again anytime! The weather was still warm for the caribou to really kick in and we still saw plenty. We can help you out with a DIY Drop Camp Caribou hunt. We are not out of Kotzebue we are out of Prudhoe Bay and we are not a fly in drop camp we take you in by air-boat up the Echooka river.
