I have never been to Alaska and am trying to plan a trip there to experience it without braking the bank.
I am looking into a black bear and fishing combo trip. Has anyone been on a spring boat based hunt that could share some info? There are quite a few going out of Homer Alaska that i am looking at but any other areas to consider would be of help.If anyone knows of any outfitters names and numbers that would be of help also.I cannot get anyone else to go with me so a drop camp hunt is out,if anyone has any other suggestions for a fairly inexpensive hunt to experience Alaska i would appreciate it.
Thank you

I read your post and have some questions for you. When did you want to go? Where are you comming from? How much time do you have? How much are you anticipating spending?

I have some ideas for you---I would just like a little more information.

Mike, thanks for your reply.I tried to open your site but my computer would not let me.Any way i"m from California and depending on the dates i am looking at spring of 2006.I have plenty of vacation so length of the trip is no concern.I would like to keep the cost around $3000 if possible ( not including airfair, license or game shipping back home ect.)If that works for any of the ideas you have let me know.I"ll continue trying to get on your site.

Thanks you can e-mail if you like
