dall sheep cost

So what has it cost you. the tag, guide and fly-in from ak to hunt site? did you score? A lifetime goal, just wondering when to start saving.

I'm booking my first dall sheep hunt. Costs vary,but expect 8-10k for a quality outfitter.Also,the good outfitters are booked 1-3 years in advance, so plan accordingly. Good luck!

HEY FALCON, DID YOU SETTLE ON M.S.??? LET ME KNOW HOW THAT GOES, THAT IS A FUTURE POSSIBILITY FOR ME. MY GEAR LIST IS A REAL CHALLENGE TO KEEP TRIMMED DOWN TO 70 POUNDS, GLAD I BOUGHT LIGHT BEER OR IT WOULD BE UP AROUND 100 LBS. GOOD LUCK, YD.

That seems like a long time away, but it will be here before I know it. The research was fun, but at some point, you gotta pull the trigger. I talked to 6 of his sheep hunters and its all good.
I'm looking forward to a challenging adventure in the Alaska Range. How about you? You gotta be losing serious sleep at night dreaming of counting sheep!!!

FALCON, ITS A GETTIN CLOSE. THIS WHOLE PRE HUNT PROCESS IS ALL ABOUT DETAILS/ PLANNING. I COUNT SHEEP TO GO TO SLEEP,ONLY TO WAKE UP TO A " OH HELL I WAS JUST DREAMIN AGAIN". TAKE ER EASY, YD.

Falcon sounds like a dream hunt. And I hope to see pictures of a nice Sheep. 2007 sounds like a long way off but it will come fast. I didn't book a sheep hunt but booked a Trophy black bear hunt in Northern BC for 2006 and I can't wait for that hunt.

Flying into some unknown terrain in the Alaska range, and living out of a backpack will be a real adventure! I hoping to get a nice ram, but its more about the hunt then the animal. Good luck with your hunt also.I'm sure you'll also be in some beautiful country.
