Let me hear about your favorite chukar boot. I need lots of support without much warmth. Usually dry and rocky and almost straight up in these parts. Stiff but breathable.

All suggestions appreciated?

Well. i wear size 13, some brands ee, others d.

Anyone who can tell me how the lowa baniff pro's work in dry land chukar hunting, let me know.

Or any other boot.

I think they're awesome. I've used them a ton hunting chukkars in NV, deer in NV and various other states, stags in New Zealand, and all types of critters in AZ (deer, javelina, quail, bear).

They are cooler than Gore-tex boots and very supportive and hard soled for the mountains, plus zero break in time was required for me. I have a couple pairs of Lowa's thanks to my first pair of Banff's and although the dog has chewed on them and they have been through a lot, I still wear them all the time.

Do you buy them at a particular place? I probably need to find a wide version and I notice that not all the places online have them in wide.

Thanks
