If I understand you correctly, you should be able to download Garmin Mapsource for free to your "new" computer. This is the interface software you use to upload/download both maps and waypoints between your computer and GPS. Connect your GPS, and upload your waypoints from your GPS to your computer.
When you say you ordered the new 2011 version, I assume you mean the maps. You should be able to download the maps and your old waypoints back onto your GPS. This usually has to be done all in one shot with the 60csx, meaning you can't "add" 1 map or a couple of waypoints to those already on the micro SD card. You need to load everything on in one shot.
