Ok so Im in the market for a new pack... haha I find myself in this same boat every year. I have yet to find a pack that I fell in love with. I have used several that I picked for my needs.
on every one something has drove me nuts.

Eberlestock has been my favorite so far. that being said I think they are built for shorter stalkier guys. Im 6'3" and 165.

But now Im lookin at a HH Full curl. maybe even a main beam XL.
I have heard some great reviews. then some not so great ones. the not so great ones seemed to always be shorter guys the couldnt get the pack to fit right. The taller guys seem to love it.

Im looking for a pack that fits great
holds weight high on my back
Versatile

I like the Eberlestock Blue widow too, but heard its only nice tell there is weight on it

LAST EDITED ON Jun-08-11 AT 02:29AM (MST)[p]I used the Horn Hunter Full Curl last season and loved it. I packed out a full muley buck, and half the meat from a spike elk. It performed flawlessly, and it was the best purchase I made last year. There is a great video review on the TU website. Here is a link to it.

I guess the link to tines up is blocked. Just go to the tines up website and it's in the general message board forum. It's a great review, and those guys put the packs to the test.

BTW I'm 6'2, 160.
