I'm looking at getting a set of 2 way's for this season, what have you guys used and how do you like them? Just looking for a good set for maybe $100 or so... Thanks!

A few years back when we were doing a lot of rifle hunting we picked up 4 Motorola model "walk about's". but they are over ten years old. The range was about 4 miles line of sight. Good high quality radios but not up to date on current models. Get the type that you can program "set" to just vibrate when you are being called. They also have programs where you can give each person in your group (each different radio) a distinct tone alert to let you know which person in your group is calling you. Pick up the "ear bud" head sets with ear piece and corded microphone. Gives you a mostly hands free setup. Also makes things a lot quietier through the headset rather than an open speaker that sends every deer into the next county. Best to create a microphone clicking code for signals on certain converations to limit noise. You hear the sequence of clicks from the specific alert tone and you know which partner is telling you it's time to start a canyon drive/move/or it's time for beer/ etc.
