Been looking at the kodiak flex bow in Cabelas. Anybody have any thoughts on this tent says it can be put up easy with one person.

very easy for one person to set up and take down. I spent 10 days of my sheep hunt in almost continuous rain and 1 or 2 nights of wind that I thought would flatten that tent out but it held up. You will not be disappointed!

Hey Goin i am in the same boat.Lookin to get a new tent this year and am leaning towards the Kodiak.About half my hunts are solo so i need to be able to put it up by myself.

Bruin is that just a tarp you put over the tent or is that a fly that comes with it?

That is one of the Cabela's Outfitter series tarps over the top. It does not come with the tent and are kind of pricey but like I said, I was in terrible downpours for 10 days and did not have any rain in my tent. I would recommend the tarp as well, when you are staying for any length of time the tarp over the top is that little bit of safety net so you don't get forced to leave or have an uncomfortable stay. The tarp is made out of Cabela's XPG material and beads up water like you can't believe.

P.S. The tent goes on sale every now and then or wait until you get a Cabela's save $100 coupon in the mail. The 10X14 is the way to go as I can get 2 cots in there on each end with a small table and propane oven/stove combo in there with 2 chairs in the middle. Cook dinners in the oven, heat coffee on the top, large propane tank outside in the rain! You have to keep folding up the chairs and table if both people want to dress at the same time. The big one was $549 and $100 off with coupon, pretty affordable for a tent that big.
