Anyone got any reviews or got the curl pack bloody so far this season ?

I haven't got mine bloody yet, but so far I have put 60-80 miles on it packing around 15-20 lbs of gear. It really did good riding horses with my bow strapped on back and hiking with my bow strapped on. So far, it has been my favorite pack. Although, my experience has been mainly with Eberlestock and lessor packs.

I packed out two elk with mine this year during the bow season. The pack worked great. I think it handles the heavier weights much better than the old Mainbeam XL. I loaded the pack about as heavy as I could stand and had no issues. Great pack, great system. The tray helps out a ton and the tie down straps help support the load.

One piece of advise. When you load meat on it, lay the pack flat and tighten the meat down while it is flat. This keeps it from sliding down and making all the weight distribute to the bottom.

I need to add to my review, the straps and meat shelve are simply awesome. I really really like how everything can be cinched down on the pack keeping it close to your body and higher on your back. It really feels like a much lighter pack than it is since it sits so close to your body, which is the reason I did not like Eberlestock

I love mine! I packed 2-loads of elk meat this year and hiked 100's of miles with the normal gear. It carried the weight great! I think this pack really can do the 1-pack does all. Great product!!!!

X100. I have hauled out one full mule deer, and 1/2 a deboned spike elk with this pack and it did great. Like previously stated, a pack that will do it all.

I have more to add on my review. Packed out a mature bull elk this last weekend using my full curl pack. I have the game bag attachement and it was by far the best pack I have ever used for hunting or packing. It took two trips (2 of us) and I was loaded over 100 lbs both times, the shoulder straps and hip belt did not dig in and the pack was very balanced and felt close to my back versus other packs I have used in the past.

I highly recommend the pack, it is perfect for hunting and packing out animals. The game bag is also a great purchase for the extra $20 or $25. It snaps right in to the existing buckles and has the ability to hold more boned out meat than I can probably carry.
