Cabela's new Base Layer?

Has anyone tried tried the new Cabela's base layer that has different insulation in different areas? UA has something similar called Base Map, anyone has any experience with these products? Thanks!

Don't know about the Cabela's but was at Costco today and they have Paradox brand merino wool blend base layer tops and bottoms in various sizes for $24.95 ea. Bought a set and will try them in WY deer hunting mid month.

I am not sold on the variable thickness approach yet, seems gimmicky to me but Polartec Power Dry is the real deal. Outstanding stuff. Cabelas has a number of regulat type base layers in Power Dry but I buy mine from REI.

I highly recommend Polartec Power Dry.

Thanks for the info. I had some rewards points, so I took a chance and ordered a set. Will get to try it out in a few weeks in CO. I'll compare it to my Patagonia and let you know what I think.
