I bought a practically brand new 22-250 model 700 from a good friend and it has a BSA classic scope on it. I was just wondering if this is a good scope. Or should I get a better one for it.

Open to any opinions

Thanks,

We put um on our plinkers like our 22's and 17's and they seem to be alright. Did notice the components do seem cheaper and the metal is not of the best quality. They are cheaply constructed but they do work. My 22-250? I'd get something different.

If you don't want to spend alot of money check out the new Redfield scopes made by Leupold. Good scope for the money.

I'm looking into
Bushnell Trophy XLT Bone Collector 3-9x40 Rifle Scope
looks to be a good scope for the price...

Anybody out there with this scope?

Redfield are great scopes and are a good value. Another budget scope is the Simmons Master Series scope. I ended up purchasing 2 of these and have been very pleased. Since my purchase the price has come down and I am once again checking out the Master Series once again to put on top of one of my rifles. Check out Natchez.com or SWFA.com and see what they have to offer.

Have fun!
